To support the fast-growing number of shops, the wholesale division formed and took our quality products and services to further markets through keen small businesses and franchisees.
We felt that in order to provide our customers with the highest quality snacks, the entire process from sourcing, to roasting, to shipment should be handled by our own Cranberry team. Therefore, before our expansion to supplying food services and airlines, we established our own facilities, that use traditional hot air drums to dry roast our nuts. This allows us to produce our sensational snacks to the highest standard for all our clients.
Traditional roasting is an art rather than a manufacturing procedure. Our passion for quality is not just about incredible ingredients, it is also a matter of how we combine these ingredients. Drawing inspiration from our roots, our roasters who are master craftsmen, have perfected the way we roast our nuts.
Choosing the right combination of ingredients is the key to achieving a perfectly finished product. Roasting in small batches allows our team to keep a watchful eye on every moment of the process.
We begin our unique roasting process by stirring the mixture of selected ingredients constantly over the burners. That way, there's an even distribution of heat, perfectly roasting the product and allowing the ingredients to release the exquisite flavour. As the moisture slowly evaporates, the mixture becomes crunchy in texture and the flavour is finally sealed in. Taste tests throughout the process ensure exceptional quality is maintained.
After roasting and processing, the use of bespoke cooling trays crucially locks in flavour, and prevents any post-roasting reactions from occurring. Finally, our products are placed in re-sealable packaging that comes in a variety of sizes, maintaining a freshly roasted taste with every snack.
Our method means that our dry roasted nuts contain no added oil, and the usage of salt is minimal. All the ingredients that our products contain are free from E numbers, and are not genetically modified, they are also vegan friendly.
